Great Return

To allow for the establishment of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Plant, in the state of Pará, Brazil, 300 riverine families were violently removed from their homes. After years of struggle, those who had not been recognized as affected by this construction gained the right to return to the banks of the Xingu River.
