Synopsis:

As she did in her directorial debut 9.70, in her second feature film, Sumercé, Victoria Solano reflects once again on the rights and sovereignty of food in our region, Colombia in particular. This time, she follows veteran activist Don Eduardo, rising political leader César Pachón and peasant leader Rosita as they fight their government’s decision to allow mining companies to exploit the areas where Colombia’s fresh water is born: the páramos.
