Adela and Marcelino are in isolation, a common experience for speakers of indigenous languages, who are prosecuted without access to an interpreter by the Mexican justice system. Victims of a corrupt Mexican police force, they finally reveal, through vivid dreams and memories of their land and loved ones, the tragic story they couldn’t tell a judge.
