One day, while collecting jagua fruits, a young Embera Katío girl, Chidima, is lured into the forbidden zone of a hydroelectric power plant that has put her village in danger. There, she accidentally discovers a sacred cave. Scared, she runs away and tells her grandfather what she saw, unexpectedly bringing new hope for her people.
