The Parana river’s delta is not quite what it seems: Called Tigre (tiger), it is wrongly named after tigers given that yaguaretés (jaguars) were there instead. The exclusive gated communities promising a life in nature are actually eating away at it. While the touristic spot shows an idyllic picture, a group of women volunteer at a recycling center because there’s no garbage collection or running water in their neighborhood. A tale of the profound inequalities on the land.
