In Latin America, our struggle against the climate crisis is hampered by media convergence and the spread of disinformation. Within this space for critical thinking, we propose to amplify voices rooted in territorial experiences and research backed by solid sources and verifiable data. This community meeting is meant to be a catalyst for the exchange of voices and experiences while facing the urgent challenges of climate justice in Argentina from a perspective rooted in the Global South. We highlight the irreplaceable value of territorial experiences, as well as to disseminate solid scientific knowledge on environmental issues, together with the urgent need for concrete political actions. Through the reaffirmation of assembly spaces as instruments of action and social response, we seek to promote an inclusive and transformative dialogue that will arrive at real and sustainable solutions.
